About SWEAD

The Society for Women's Education and Awareness Development (SWEAD), established in 1994, has been dedicated to working in the core areas of empowering poor women and providing education to underprivileged children in Tamil Nadu, India. Implement climate-resilient livelihood programs tailored for women and small farmers.

Promote eco-friendly income-generating activities, including sustainable handicrafts and green businesses.

Train communities in disaster preparedness and climate adaptation, particularly in flood and cyclone-prone areas.
