Introduction
In the face of multiple crises that are interconnected, it is the women belonging to marginalized communities who suffer the most from poverty, inequality, and climate challenges. While open data cannot directly solve these issues, it can empower communities by providing relevant information that fosters innovation and supports data-informed solutions. Our event will discuss how open data can be unleashed to form sustainable, inclusive, and resilient women-led societies through the lens of Harnessing Open Data for Resilient Women Communities Addressing Poverty, Inequality, and Climate Crises.
